Beta testing

How to test the LumaLoop Android beta

Useful beta feedback explains what you tried, what happened and what you expected. You do not need technical vocabulary or a long report.

Before you begin

Test the first journey in order

  1. Open the app as a new user and note whether the first step is clear.
  2. Try the introductory audio and check the playback controls.
  3. Record a short sample in your own voice.
  4. Play it back, close the app and confirm it behaves as expected when you return.
  5. Try editing or deleting the sample using the available controls.

Describe problems clearly

Include your device model, Android version, LumaLoop build number and the exact screen where the problem occurred. Write the steps in order. A report such as “Tapped Play after reopening the app; the button changed but no audio played” is more useful than “audio broken.”

Protect personal information

A screenshot can contain notifications, email addresses and recording names. Crop or blur unrelated details before sharing. Send a voice file only when requested and only if its content is safe to share.

Comment on language and comfort

Tell the team when wording feels confusing, pressuring or emotionally unsafe. Beta testing includes the experience of the copy, not only whether a button works.
