Wellbeing and safety
Use reflection as support, not as treatment.
LumaLoop is designed for personal reflection, journaling and intentional practice. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological or crisis care.
Know the limit
LumaLoop does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. App content and community discussion are not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.
Pause when a practice feels overwhelming
A recording can bring attention to difficult thoughts or memories. Stop playback or recording if you feel overwhelmed, unsafe or unable to continue comfortably. Choose a neutral activity, contact someone you trust or seek appropriate professional support.
Use accurate, grounded language
Avoid recording statements that pressure you to deny real circumstances or promise a guaranteed outcome. Prefer language that names a choice you can make, an action you can take or a quality you want to practise.
Protect private information
Recordings may contain names, health details, relationship information or other sensitive material. Review your device permissions, backups and sharing settings, and avoid recording another person without their knowledge and permission.
Emergencies
LumaLoop is not an emergency service. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, stop using the app and contact the emergency services available where you are.
